Valentine’s Day is less than a month away!! I don’t know about you but this holiday is one of my favourites to celebrate with my littles. There’s so many ideas and it’s so pretty and fun! It’s also my moms birthday so we celebrate extra hard.
I thought I’d share a few of the things we did last year and also a few that we’ve done so far this year in hopes so give someone an idea they’d like to try. We enjoyed all these things and I’m looking forward to trying a few others this year too.
1. Heart Shaped Food
I like using cookie cutters to shape pancakes into fun themes but you could also use them to shape pretty much any food like fruits or grilled cheese.
2. Painting
The flowers made out of my kids hands and feet were a great hit and Nora loved painting hearts that I made out of a toilet paper roll.
3. Photo Shoot
I’ve done many photo shoots with the babies but this one had to be one of my favs! Just buy some fun Valentines Day props from the dollar store and voila! It’s a great way to dress them up all fancy too.
4. Valentine’s Day Cards
I’m a sucker for a good pun so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a good memory and be funny all at the same time.
5. Sensory Bin
You can check out this fun sensory bin here.
Hope you liked some of these ideas and let me know if you decide to try any!
