Peppermint Lip Scrub Review

It has been a while since I have used a lip scrub. I used to use one from Lush but I didn’t finish it and never really committed to it. I meant to find an alternative and just never got around to it. I know I could just make my own and maybe eventually I will but until then, I have found a new one I love!

I was on instagram and came across this profile of homemade products. I really want to start supporting smaller businesses so when I found “Simplynaturalbymichelle” I was intrigued. I checked out her Etsy (I’ll link it below if you want to check it out) and I liked her products! She has a bunch of different options and I plan on posting more about those in detail. I spoke with Michelle about her products and she was super friendly. She sent me a bunch to try.

So far I’m mostly using the peppermint lip scrub and it smells fanastic. It is a pretty pink colour and leaves my lips super soft. It is now part of my bedtime routine. I only use it every couple of days though. So around 2-3 times a week. You only need a small amount so this one I have will last me quite a while. It is a full 1 ounce little container.

Another thing I like is the packaging. It looks like its glass and I’m a klutz, I drop stuff all the time so I was happy to see that it is actually plastic. It’s not the malleable kind you get sometimes either. I plan on reusing it when its empty. It would be perfect for lotion to keep in your bag! It also came with a cute little spoon to scoop it out.

I love the feeling of my lips after using this. They are soft of course but during the first few minutes they are also tingly. I can’t wait to try more of the goodies I got!

Do you guys support small shops?

Ps: here’s the link I mentioned!
