End of Finish 14 by February 14th Project

I barely finished anything this month. I was on vacation for a week and barely used any makeup. I haven’t been wearing any since I’ve been back either because my skin has been peeling from a sunburn so I don’t want to use anything until it stops.

On the bright side, I still made some progress.

This is the end of my Finish 14 by February 14th project so I’ll have to start up another one. I managed to finish my chapstick and one of my lipstick samples! Those samples have way more in them than I expected! It lasted for quite a while, I still have three more of them to get thorough.

I made some good progress on my perfume.

Here is an update on the lipstick and shimmer stick, I didn’t really use the lip gloss much this month. I’m determined to finish it this year though because I feel like I’ve been working on it for forever!

I’m thinking about making an excel sheet to keep track of my inventory to make things easier for me. I could set it up by month so I could see what is coming in and what is going out. I think I’ve been pretty good lately as I haven’t bought anything new in a while… here’s hoping that lasts!

Any suggestions to stay on track with a no buy?

  1. What are your thoughts on those single use packages of face masks and whatnot that are all of a sudden popping up in the stores? Worth the money? Or are they meant to be samples.

    1. I feel like they’re hit and miss, I’ve tried some that I’ve loved and some that I’ve really disliked. I like single ones sometimes to try them out because I have super sensitive skin and I get to see if I react to them or not. That’s the only way I find them worth the money, otherwise you can get packages with multiple masks or tubes/containers with masks that are way more worth it.

      1. Good to know. I bought a 24k mask the other day and really liked it but haven’t been able to find it in a tube, so I was curious if that’s just how people bought their face masks these days!
