I am having a serious love/hate relationship with this eyeshadow palette. I never use this and it is getting up there in age so I’ve decided to use it for my Project Pan (check out Project Pan Page for more info on that). Some of the colours are great and some are total pains!
I’m trying to make the best out of this so I don’t waste it. I don’t know if the issue is with the product itself or if it is from being older. Some colours are awesome, they look great and are very pigmented… until the end of the day and suddenly they just become one colour. They are easy to blend and look great for a little bit. Other colours fade so my eyelids are just left glittery… where did the colour go?!
Here are what all the colours actually look like swatched:
:
There is some serious glitter fallout but I’m trying to make the most of it and I try to blend it into a highlight…that doesn’t really work well but I tried!
I’m going to keep using this palette in hopes that maybe I will finish a colour or two but I may stick to just the colours that work well. We will have to wait and see just how much patience I have. I might try a better primer on my eyelids which will probably help at least a little.
I wouldn’t repurchase this as I have much better palettes I would rather use. Also apparently Avon isn’t cruelty free. That and I don’t actually know if this is still even available… it has probably been discontinued by now!
Do you guys have any issues with eyeshadows like this? Any easy fixes?
