Sol de Janeiro Açaí Body Power Cream

fullsizerender-1

For anybody who is a fan of the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I can assure you you’re going to love their new Açaí Body Power Cream too!

I was really excited to hear that they were coming out with a body cream because I find the Bum Bum cream to be super moisturizing, but I find it has a strong smell. Don’t get me wrong I love the pistachio caramel scent, but sometimes I just want a lighter scent especially if I’m going out somewhere and I don’t want to smell like I just stepped off the beach.

So according to Sephora’s website the Açaí Body Power Cream is “A fast-absorbing daily dose of powerful antioxidants for resilient and radiant skin.” And I can attest to the statement above. The cream is definitely fast-absorbing, and it’s not greasy. As for the radiant skin it definitely leaves my skin radiant. If rubbed into skin in a circular motion it gives the skin a natural glow look. The cream has extra-fine peachy mica flecks in it, and it shimmers on your skin after a few minutes. You’re probably ‘oh god no I don’t want to sparkle!’ But honestly don’t worry it’s barely noticeable, it’s just there to give off that subtle glow.

I will definitely be repurchasing this product when I’m eventually done; however, that may not be for a while because I’m trying to use it sparingly as in Canada it costs $57 and I’m not used to spending that much money on a tub of cream.

For anyone who isn’t aware it’s 2x times the Beauty Insider points on skincare products at Sephora, and yes this is included in the deal!

Have you tried this product? Maybe another one of Sol de Janeiro’s products? What did you think of it?
